ServiceTurbine ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ServiceTurbine platform at serviceturbine.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

  • Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, trade type, and service area.
  • Lead submissions: When homeowners submit information through a ServiceTurbine page or embedded widget, we collect the data they provide (name, phone, email, address, description of their service need).
  • Payment information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and referring URLs.
  • Device data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the ServiceTurbine platform
  • To send lead notifications via email and SMS to contractors when homeowners submit inquiries
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To improve our services and develop new features
  • To communicate with you about your account and service updates

3. SMS/Text Messaging

ServiceTurbine sends SMS notifications to contractors exclusively for transactional purposes — specifically, to notify you when a new lead is submitted through your ServiceTurbine page or widget. These messages are not marketing or promotional messages.

By providing your phone number and enabling SMS notifications in your account settings, you expressly consent to receive transactional text messages from ServiceTurbine at the phone number you provide. Message frequency varies depending on your lead volume. Message and data rates may apply. You are not required to consent to SMS as a condition of using the ServiceTurbine platform.

SMS messages are sent from +1 (317) 943-6551. We will never use your phone number to send marketing messages, and we will never share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

To opt out:Reply STOP to any message, or disable SMS notifications in your ServiceTurbine dashboard under Settings > Alerts. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers: Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS delivery), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it.
  • Contractors and homeowners: Lead information submitted by homeowners is shared with the contractor whose form or page they submitted through. This is the core function of the service.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government request.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Lead submission data is retained for the duration of the contractor's account. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@serviceturbine.com.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication, and role-based access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications
